What is the young Korean American Network?
  • yKAN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of young Korean American (KA) professionals.


  • Founded in 1989, yKAN’s mission is to help KA professionals:


  •  CONNECT and network with other KA professionals,


  •  CONTRIBUTE through relevant community service, and


  •  ADVANCE Korean American interests in the USA

  • yKAN pursues its mission by organizing monthly General Meetings and events throughout the year, including:

Career Forum
  • The forum served to educate Korean American high school students about different careers.
  • A panel of Korean- and Asian-American guest speakers shared their experiences from various fields such as medicine and health services, arts, finance, and law.
