2	What is the young Korean American Network? yKAN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of young Korean American (KA) professionals. Founded in 1989, yKAN’s mission is to help KA professionals: CONNECT and network with other KA professionals, CONTRIBUTE through relevant community service, and ADVANCE Korean American interests in the USA

11	Example Event – Career Forum The forum served to educate Korean American high school students about different careers. A panel of Korean- and Asian-American guest speakers shared their experiences from various fields such as medicine and health services, arts, finance, and law.
